Jim Iyke, Gideon Okeke, Others Join INEC

As the general elections in Nigeria draw nearer by the day, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken its duty as the umpire of the polls higher by getting the support of entertainers in the country as its ambassadors.
The reason for this, we gathered, is to use these stars to educate the electorates on the need to embrace a free and fair election in the country.
INEC, in conjunction with the United Nations Development Programme-Democratic Governance for Development (UNDP-DGD), organised a 2-day National Youth Summit, which started on Monday, January 19, 2015 in Abuja to sensitize the youth against being used as the agents for destruction.
The Commission presented Jim Iyke, Gideon Okeke, Mike Godson, Gbenga Ajibade, Tayo Faniran and Frank Edwards for the propagation of theme; ‘Nigerian Youth: Working for Peaceful Elections, Deepening Our Democracy.’
