Federal Gov't Declares May 29 Public Holiday To Mark Democracy Day Celebrations


Nigerian Federal Government has declared May 29, Thursday, a public holiday, the official statement by the Ministry of Interior reads.
The body minister Patrick Moro explained that on this date the country will mark 2014 Democracy Day celebrations.
According to Today, after wishing Nigerians good celebration, Moro also urged people to support democratic changes and participate in the political life of the country to transform the nation.
In conclusion the minister called for support of President Goodluck Jonathan and his administration in his effort to build united Nigeria.
